Wynne Hodges is an artist and engineer based in Savannah, Georgia, USA. She has a background in Fine Arts and over twenty years of experience as a Professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Hodges’ blacksmith training at the John C. Campbell Folk School sparked an exploration of metal as a unique medium. By combining traditional blacksmithing techniques with a passion for sculpting, Hodges creates intricate iron forms inspired by the live oaks of Savannah.
Wynne Hodges earned a MEng in Additive Manufacturing and Design from Penn State University, focusing on the potential of 3D printing to enhance creative possibilities in the arts. Hodges’ work lies at the intersection of art, science, and engineering.
